Martina Dawn is an up and coming country artist that will guarantee you a good time the minute she steps on your stage. With her firecracker personality and energetic stage presence, this rising country star is building her career one song at a time. Starting in the industry at the age of 12, and singing before she could even talk, Martina always had a passion for music. With her mom also being a country artist ,and owning a music school for over 10 years, Martina had a great role model to follow and naturally started performing for audiences at 5 years old. She gradually grew her craft and is now proud to have played at major live music venues such as Country Thunder Calgary, Big Valley Jamboree, Cook County Saloon, and The Country Music Alberta Award Show to name a few. She also has had multiple opportunities where she has opened for Major Canadian acts like Tebey, George Canyon, and Doc Walker, Bobby Wills, and Tyler Joe Miller, and many more. Martina Recorded her first four singles before she was 18 years old, and had some of the best in the Canadian Country Music industry working on the tracks. Produced by CCMA Hall of Honour Inductee Travis Switzer and mixed by CCMA and Juno Award winning Bart McKay, with various other award winning musicians playing on the songs, they were bound to end up fantastic. Not to mention some of the major songwriters like Meghan Patrick, Blake Bollinger, Thomas Archer, Emma Lee, and Alana Springsteen, who used their skills to create such catchy, loveable songs. After releasing her first songs to the world, Martina was Blessed to have won the 2021 Country Music Alberta Horizon Youth Award. The award was a major accomplishment for her, and she is incredibly gracious to have such major support from industry representatives. Martina has now released 6 singles out to digital streaming platforms and has gained over 200k collective streams. Recording her most recent singles in Nashville with Producer Grady Saxman out of Saxman Studios, Martina was elated to be recording amongst major recording artists like Tenille Arts, Jelly Roll, and Luke combs. She also got to write her single “Sittin Pretty” at the renowned Nashville publishing house Warner Chappell,with hit songwriter Styles Haury, and her fellow Canadian co-writer Krissy Feniak. “Sittin Pretty” has since become Martina’s first song with over 150k Streams on Platforms which she is beyond grateful for. Her most recent single “Love on Them” was chosen as the spotlight feature for the month of April on Canada’s Country Legend 840 CFCW. “Love on Them” is her first single that she has released where she is the solo writer, and is a song she is incredibly proud of. As she progresses in her career, she plans to continue working hard on writing songs, and playing as many shows as possible to grow her audience in a live setting, along with digital platforms. With a great group of people around her and a fire burning inside to work hard, Martina is incredibly optimistic for what is to come, and she can’t wait to bring you along with her.
